WHAT IS DARFUR?
Darfur, an area about the size of Texas, lies in Western Sudan in Africa. Since 2003, as many as 400,000 people have died and 2.5 million people have been displaced. 4 million people currently need humanitarian aid.
HOW YOU ARE HELPING
The money you raise supports the building, staffing and equipping of our Sister School -- the Sudan Djedid School in the Djabal refugee camp of Eastern Chad. The school will serve about 700 students, providing them with the skills, knowledge and hope they need to dream of a future outside the camps.
